• The day I had a spelling bee and found out we get to keep Romey and cried on the phone
• The day my roommate and I jumped in an astrojump after church
• The day I went for coffee with Courtney and told her about my life and she cried because she thought it was so beautiful :P
• And the day I graduated was pretty awesome, not because it was actually all that awesome but because it was a milestone of sorts

Surrey

So I’m going to Surrey for three weeks in August to do Street Invaders and help lead a team of high school kids in street mission stuff. WHAT?! 

I’m really excited but for things that I have no idea. I was talking to my hair dresser today about it and she said ‘wow, surrey? that’s…sketchy. BE CAREFUL LADY’ so I’m not worried really but just contextually looking at how SI went over in grade 9 in rural sask and then thinking about Surrey and what it’s like and imagining the potential types of work we will be doing?! I think it really just hit me today.

The week of Bad Attitudes

I was an ogre this week. SO bad. An internal ogre. I hate that. I’m better now though, but I don’t know why I ever had to be an ogre in the first place.

The university is so strange! I just saw a girl with sideburns….. also there are way too many ugly tattoos in the world.

Where do I go from here……? I coupld probably post a crazy amount of song lyrcis here now.

Sometimes people just have bad attitudes. Chronic bad attitudes. Their happy things in the day are pushed aside by the mountain of terrible things they choose to focus on. So much so that their conversation revolves around these things. Do you call that out in someone?
